Principal's Message

Dear Ramona Elementary Students, Families, and Staff,

Welcome to Ramona Elementary—where kindness, curiosity, and community come together to create a joyful place to learn and grow. It is my privilege to serve as your principal and to be part of such a vibrant and compassionate school community.
At Ramona, we believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a thriving learning environment. Through our commitment to Capturing Kids’ Hearts and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), we foster a culture of empathy, respect, and connection across our campus. Our Rams Reward Store is just one example of how we celebrate students for living out our core values every day.

Student voice and leadership are at the heart of our school. Initiatives like the student-led Kindness Club empower our young leaders to take initiative, serve others, and build a positive school culture from within. These efforts show the incredible potential our students have—not just as learners, but as changemakers.
We also take great pride in our rich and inclusive school traditions. Events like Multicultural Day bring our community together in celebration of the diversity that makes us stronger. These shared experiences deepen our understanding of one another and help us build a sense of unity and belonging.

Family partnerships are essential to everything we do. Whether through the Library and Garden Committees, Art Docent Program, or classroom volunteers, our parents and caregivers bring invaluable support, creativity, and care to our students’ learning journeys.
