Ramona's Festive Celebration
Experience the warmth of the holiday season at Ramona Elementary School’s beloved Winter Festival, a cherished tradition spanning over 30 years. Hosted by the Ramona PTA, this festive evening brought together over 2,000 attendees—including current students, families, staff, and returning alumni—for an unforgettable celebration.
The event featured pony rides, obstacle courses, student dance performances, holiday games, and more—all designed to create lasting memories and celebrate the spirit of the season. As one of the most anticipated events of the year, the Winter Festival continues to grow, bringing joy and unity to the Hawthorne community.
Ramona School Multicultural Festival 2025
Ramona School recently celebrated its annual Multicultural Festival, a vibrant event that highlighted the diversity and creativity of our students.
The festival featured student performances of traditional dances, which delighted the audience and showcased the talent and enthusiasm of our students.
The festival was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and recognize the many unique backgrounds that make Ramona School so special.
Ramona's Annual Color Run Fundraiser 2024
Join HCTV’s Stephanie Canova at Ramona Elementary’s second annual Color Run—an exciting PTA-led event where students ran, danced, and got splashed with color to raise funds for school programs. With a Zumba warm-up and plenty of colorful fun and healthy activity helped Ramona Elementary surpass their fundraising goal, collecting $38,000.

Ramona Elementary Celebrates Black History Month with a Living Museum 2024
Join HCTV’s Eric J. Dockery at Ramona Elementary for their first large-scale Black History Month celebration. Students brought history to life through a powerful Living Museum, portraying iconic figures like Harriet Tubman and Michael Jackson. From GATE performers to schoolwide art displays, the event blended creativity, education, and community to honor Black history in an engaging and meaningful way.
